About Mandarr
Hello! My name is Amanda Wearstler, but you may call me Mandarr if you like.
What shall I say? I’m 20 years old, soon to be 21, and I live in a boring town in Washington. I’ve lived here all my life, and lord can I not wait to break outta here like a bat outta hell! If I’m lucky enough, that is. It’s one of those towns that bleeds you dry and never lets you leave if it can help it, but I’ve got big plans and there is no way this town will stop me!
My dream is to do this for a living. Draw, color, be creative, and most of all, be able to live off of it. It’s a big dream, but others have made it happen, and I think I can too in time.
Here are a few facts about me.
- I love to sing. I’ll sing everywhere. At work, in the car, on the toilet, in my head [and out loud] at inappropriate times. I also tend to be set off by certain phrases. For instance, if someone says “forever”, I immediately start singing “Forever Young”. I’m cool like that.
- I can watch cat videos until my eyes bleed and still watch another 10 hours worth. Cats. <3
- My mom is blind. Just kinda a cool fact, cause she is really epic.
- If I laugh too hard, my knees disappear. Like.. non-existent. I just fall to the floor. Cataplexy is the term for this.
- I love the smell of old books. In general, I just like old things.
- I’m terrified of spiders.
- I am 5 ft 9 in, and wear a size 11 shoe. I’m a giant. It makes finding clothing that fits properly, and shoes that don’t look like they are made for old ladies really, really, really hard.
- I have approx. 5 different of laughs.
- Hydrangeas are my favorite flowers.
- And I collect all things TMNT and Hellboy.
